A fragment of Mars travels through space to meet a hybrid of meteorite and earth's surface from an asteroid impact and one of the rarest gemstones from deep in the earth's center, and dance together in a spiraling sea of Fibonacci coded silver and 14k gold magnetic spirals to form an artifact blending the best of the cosmos, the sky, and the earth's volcanic core.

"About 10 million years ago, I began my journey when I was thrown from my Martian home by a meteor impact. This threw me into the vacuum of space to travel aimlessly until I crash landed in the Sahara desert. I found my way across the earth, over oceans, forests, and plains, to meet with an equally unique and extraordinary, tanzanite and moldavite with origins just as special (descriptions below) We danced in a web of sterling silver and 14k gold fill, hand woven in fibonnaci spirals to create an artifact unlike any other. These are accentuated with 8 chrome diopsides, sapphire, amythest, tourmaline, and two citrines in a multi-dimensional dance of precision artistry and craftsmanship to be a true exhibition of skill and mastery that will last lifetimes as a showpiece of any collection. Martian meteorite:

The Amgala 001 is a Martian meteorite classified as an olivine-phyric shergottite, discovered in December 2022 in Western Sahara. It weighs about 34.67 kilograms, has a greenish-gray interior with dark olivine crystals, and relatively low weathering. Its authenticity is confirmed and it’s notable for being a well-preserved piece of Mars by the Lunar and Planetary Institute (https://www.lpi.usra.edu/meteor/metbull.php?code=79965). I acquired this from reputable meteorite collector, Mark Lyon (www.marklyonmeteorites.com) 

 

Moldavite:

All of the moldavite in the world formed about 15 million years ago when an asteroid impact created the Ries Crater in Germany. The molten material launched into the atmosphere that was a mixture of earth's crust and meteorite, cooled and fell in parts of what is now the Czech Republic. The total known moldavite is around 275 tons. As for the mystical side... it's definitely famous for attracting some unique experiences to those that wear it or keep it on them. I've had a few stories myself but I'd rather leave that aspect for each person to look into for themselves. 

 

Tanzanite:

Tanzanite, discovered in 1967 in the Merelani Hills of Tanzania, formed from a unique and rare geological window and only comes from one spot on earth. It’s famed for displaying a trichroic kaleidoscope of colors—blue, violet, magenta, deep green, yellow, pink, or even fiery orange and about a thousand times rarer than diamonds, with a very finite supply. This makes each piece, a truly once-in-a-lifetime treasure especially with a cut of this quality and color variance.

 

The dance of Fibonacci spirals of silver and 14k gold fill:

This, as well as every other piece I make, is made exclusively with counting every single weave in Fibonacci aspect ratios and numbers. I meticulously count every single coil on every single wire as I wrap them by hand to 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, and so on to replicate the mathematical representation of beauty found in genetics, tidal patterns, population growth patterns, statistical patterns, astronomy, and even the Vitruvian man and Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci. Silver also happens to have the highest conductivity of any metal and any electro magnet is made running electrons through coils of wire and generators are just moving magnets across coils of wire, which makes this an interesting conduit for the electromagnetic activity around it.
